Centre WISP is Hiring an Office Manager Near Centre Hall, PA

Centre WISP is a wireless and fiber optic internet service provider in Centre Hall, PA. We provide internet service throughout Central Pennsylvania, including Centre, Mifflin, Juniata, and Perry counties. We work closely with residents and regional governments to offer broadband internet to previously underserved areas.

Our team is growing, and we are looking for an Office Manager. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with initiative, who loves Google Suite and will take the lead on learning and implementing our new CRM platform. This role will ensure the smooth running of the office and our day-to-day operations.

The successful Office Manager is an energetic professional who doesn't mind wearing multiple hats. Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative duties and support-related tasks and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Well organized, flexible, and enjoys the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Act as a lead or assist with special projects.
  • Recommend improvements to company processes for efficiency.
  • Point person for maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, bills, and errands.
  • Organize office operations and procedures.
  • Provide general support to visitors.
  • Plan and execute company events.
  • Ensure filing systems are maintained and current.
  • Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data.
  • Coordinate schedules, appointments, and bookings.
  • Ensure employees have the tools and equipment needed to do their jobs.
  • Learn other company roles to provide support, as needed.
  • Provide bookkeeping support, as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of office administration, systems, and procedures.
  • Ability to multitask, manage time, and prioritize.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Efficient typist.
  • Advanced computer skills, and an aptitude to learn new systems and procedures.
  • Have bookkeeping experience.
  • Be a motivated self-starter; able to develop and refine processes for efficiency.
  • Enjoy interacting with the public and providing excellent customer service.
  • Two to four years of experience as an Office Manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
